The 2025 Joint Meeting of SAHMS and the Eleanor Crowder Bjoring Center for Nursing Historical Inquiry (ECBCNHI) 6th Agnes Dillon Randolph International Nursing History Conference will be held March 13-15, 2025 at the University of Virginia School of Nursing.

Registration
  • Registration will not open until mid-January via Eventbrite.
  • Your registration includes a light breakfast, lunch, and coffee break on Friday and Saturday, as well as a banquet dinner on Friday evening after the keynote address.
  • Registration rates will be as follows:
    • Regular rate: $275
    • Independent scholars and retirees: $150
    • Students: $100
  • Additional banquet tickets will be available for purchase via Eventbrite.

  • A block of rooms is reserved at the Hampton Inn on Main St. at the special rate of $159/night. 
    • You may book by phone or online.

    • The conference rate is available for the nights of March 13, 14, and 15. If you need to book an additional night, you will have to call the hotel to ask about extending your rate.

  • We strongly encourage all presenters to be a member of SAHMS. The membership fees are what help us support student travel grants and our journal publication..

Student Travel Grants
  • We have a small number of travel grants available to support student presenters. 
  • Grants cannot cover the total cost but can offset the overall expense of conference travel.
