The 2024 Robert Nesbit Award for Best Graduate Student Paper
The Southern Association for the History of Medicine and Science (SAHMS) is seeking applicants for the annual Robert Nesbit Award for Best Graduate Student Paper. SAHMS will evaluate papers based on scholarship and research. The 2024 Robert Nesbit Award winner will receive a cash prize and the opportunity to publish in The Journal of the Southern Association for the History of Medicine and Science.
1) Applicants must be a current graduate student and present at either the 2023 fall virtual conference or the 2024 in person conference.
2) Applicants should submit an abstract and paper in Chicago Style. The submission should be based on the paper presented at the conference. Papers are expected to be 20-25 pages.
3) Submissions are due on April 1, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Please, submit to [email protected]
